Nestled on the bustling Plaza de España, it offered a perfect base for exploring Mérida's rich Roman heritage-getting lost in its narrow streets was a delight! Our room was spacious and impeccably clean, with thoughtful touches like a pillow menu and a free minibar, which made unwinding after a day of sightseeing easy. I adored the rooftop terrace, where we enjoyed a refreshing dip in the small pool while soaking in stunning sunset views over the historic quarter-truly a perfect spot for relaxation! The staff were exceptionally warm and attentive, sharing local tips that enhanced our experience immensely. The sumptuous buffet breakfast provided a fantastic start to our days, showcasing regional delicacies that were a joy to sample. I wholeheartedly recommend this gem; whether you're a design enthusiast like myself or simply seeking a culturally rich getaway, the Hotel Ilunion will surely deliver an unforgettable experience!
